Until then, I will have to settle with skewers on the stove top. They still taste good and even my 2-year-old loves shrimp done this way.

I started with the Onera seasoning I won over at This Week For Dinner awhile back. We like the flavor if this seasoning. It worked well with the shrimp. We usually use Old Bay--who doesn't?
I used frozen, peeled, deveined, medium-sized shrimp. I let them thaw quickly under cold, running water. This is a good 30 minute meal for when you are in a hurry to get something on the table quickly.I drizzled the shrimp with good olive oil and sprinkled on my Onera.
Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Sear the shrimp on each side for about 1-1 1/2 minutes each, or until the shrimp is no longer translucent. Don't overcook your shrimp! It will be too rubbery to eat and you will be sad.Serve with a squeeze of lime. Good as appetizers or for a healthy dinner, add a salad.
